On Thursday, January 29, 2026, the Fukuoka Platform for Sustainable Cities in Asia and the Pacific – The 4th Networking Seminar, organized by the UN-Habitat Fukuoka Office, was held.
FOF signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UN-Habitat Fukuoka Office in August last year to advance collaborative initiatives. As part of this ongoing collaboration, FOF gave a presentation during the seminar’s Co-Creation Network Session.

In the presentation, FOF was introduced, and Dr. Kazuhiko Imamura, Vice President of the Fukuoka Veterinary Medical Association, was invited as a speaker. He explained the concept of One Health and the One Health education initiatives implemented in Fukuoka Prefecture, and also presented on the potential for collaboration with UN-Habitat’s sustainable urban development efforts.
The seminar was a valuable opportunity for us at FOF to exchange views with the Director of the UN-Habitat Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and other participants from overseas.
